#10 Virtual Artistry

The Rallyist Virtual Motor Sport Art Gallery.

Surely Not !!! It's true and it's open right now.

I've had this idea lurking in my head for ages. An Art Gallery program that allows the viewer to glide around at leisure and browse the artwork ... browse my Artwork. Visit each of the three individually themed rooms, The Cars, The Characters and The Cartoons. The trilogy of Rallyist-Art.

The Cars

Not just Rally cartoon cars on show, don't you know. We have the Classic Rallyist-Art Cars. We have F1, we have Special Saloons, BTCC, and European NASCAR. Believe me it was some task to decide which and where each print would go. I must say, thank goodness the program was simple to use, it allowed for changes, a lot of changes.

The Characters

Yes. I've created a lot of characters over the years and not all connected to motor sport. Ok, So I made the odd concession ... s'my Gallery. Though it did set me to thinking about the work ahead with respect to the real Gallery, can't put the same stuff up for every event. We will need to inject freshness, originality, sparkle. Moving things about a bit. Worth thinking about.

The Cartoon.

No shortage here either. fact is having just submitted two more cartoons to the new British Road Rallying publication for issue 2. and of course ongoing work for 'Too Much Speed', Ongoing???? .... Yes Ongoing. There is plenty subject matter to display.

You will note the Old Wales Rally GB safety poster is on display. Ten years on and I am still receiving positive comments and enquiries.

Oh by the by. did you know, in addition to just wondering around the gallery using the UP, DOWN, LEFT & RIGHT buttons you can use Q & E to look up and down, plus A & D to move sideways. If that's not enough you can click on a picture to zoom in and using the arrows on either side of the screen visit every item on show with in the catalogue.

Catalogue yeah I like that...

In closing I would like to thank Virtual Art Gallery for allowing me to use their site to build my dream. Thankyou.
